Anyone interested can contact your area Vice President.
All coaches and referees must attend a training clinic.
Dates will be announced.
Referees are paid positions.
Payment to refs will be made for all games at the end of the season.
Who are we?
Well, first of all, we are all volunteers. Please remember that, we are all volunteers, the Coaches, the officials, the Area VP's, the volunteers standing in the hot equipment building equipping the players, and the volunteers on the chain gang and in the concession stands.
This organization is responsible to administer a youth tackle football league. While trying to retain the spirit of football some rules must be modified to protect our young athletes and promote the fundamentals of the game. We have 2 age divisions for our program, the Youth Junior is 5th & 6th grade and the Youth Senior is 7th & 8th grade.
Please remember that the rules of football vary differently from the NFL to College to High School and to our youth program. So yelling "PASS INTERFERENCE when the defender had contact with a wide receiver after 10 yards" has no bearing on the game, because per High School Rules, you cannot have pass interference until the ball crosses the line of scrimmage. The 10 yard rule is a NFL Rule!
Please enjoy the game and commend these young athletes, win or lose, on the hard work they put into the game.
