Legal Snap A snap is the legal act of passing or handing the ball from its position on the ground in a quick and continuous backward motion of the hand(s) during which the ball immediately leaves the hand(s). A snap is legal only when the ball touches the ground or a backfield player before is touches a Team A lineman. |
